Please read these terms and condition of use carefully before starting the sponsorship program.
Payment & Renewal:

• You may pay for your sponsorship online, by cheque or money order.
• KFN will notify you in advance when it is time to renew your sponsorship, unless you choose a recurring payment option.
• If KFN does not receive your renewal payment, you will receive a notification email informing you that your account is overdue. A 2 month grace period will be provided, after which sponsorship will be considered terminated and the sponsored child returned to unsponsored status.

• You may select a child to sponsor after visiting a child at KFN or after consultation with KFN offcials. KFN cannot guarantee the availability of a child to sponsor based on your specifications, but we will do our best to match you with an appropriate child.
• Your sponsorship includes education of a child from grade 1-10, basic needs like food, housing, medical expenses and other contingency miscellaneous costs.
• KFN reserves the right to change your sponsored child after your permission for so. Due to the unstable nature of economic opportunity in the areas we work and other issues such as family commitments that may require relocation, children occasionally move with their families outside of KFN support area. Families of sponsored children may also attain a level of income where they no longer require aid, at which point KFN will assign a new child whose family is facing more dire economic hardship. We will notify you of any change by email and work with you to find a new child to sponsor.

• We encourage sponsors to support the same child throughout the course of their education for as long as they are able. This allows children to continue their education uninterrupted and facilitates a relationship between the sponsor and the sponsored children. To ensure uninterrupted services to your sponsored child, a minimum sponsorship commitment of 12 months is required. Sponsorship cannot be terminated before this date.
• If at any point you decide to discontinue your sponsorship, at least 3 months advance notice is required. Contact KFN by email or telephone to provide advance notice.
• Your sponsorship for a sponsored child will be terminated and transfer to another child in case the financial details of child's family submitted to KFN was found counterfeit and had wrong details, if the economic condition of a child's family improved who were able to afford child's education.
• KFN reserves the right to terminate sponsorship of a child and release them from KFN in case a child misbehaves or shows socially unacceptable behaviors.

• You can send a written message (200 words or less) to your sponsored child. You can send gifts, cards, clothes to your sponsored child.
• Please allow substantial time for translation and delivery before expecting a reply from your sponsored child. We will deliver your messages as quickly as we can. But we will prefer online one-on-one conversation with your sponsored child.
